Pet insurance

A typical pet insurance plan covers your animals injuries and illnesses for life. This is important if your dog or cat gets an on-going condition like arthritis or eczema. Some policies from insurers such as Tesco and Direct Line, will stop paying out after 12 months, or offer a maximum benefit, which only pays out a limited sum of money per condition.

So it seems that for pet insurance to cover your animal for life, you need to find a policy where there is no limit on how long you can claim for each illness or injury, no matter how ill your pet may become or how much you have claimed in the previous year. Cover for illness or injury simply does not end with some of the covers, as with 12 month or maximum benefit policies. Search our providers below to help you get the best one for you.
