Working as a sports coach you will work with individuals and teams at all levels, helping them to improve their skills and techniques to become better players.
Sports coaches work with both teams and individuals, planning and running training sessions. Other work includes:
Evaluating the physical and mental condition of your players
Working to develop individual players into a team
Working with players at competitions and events
It is usual to start off working part time - most coaches are either volunteers or coach alongside another full-time job. Training is via a qualification from the national governing body (NGB) for your chosen sport.
